Khow Suey Curry Ramen

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 packet Jify Curry Ramen
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 Onion (peeled and chopped)
  • 6-7 cloves Garlic
  • 1-inch Ginger (chopped)
  • 10-12 Coriander Stems
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 500 ml Water
  • 1 Carrot (diced)
  • ½ cup Green Beans (chopped)
  • 2 Baby Corn (sliced)

FOR GARNISH

    Fried Garlic
    Egg Yolk
    Green Onions (sliced)

  1. Add the onion, garlic, ginger, coriander stems, coriander seeds, and turmeric to a blender.
  2. Blend into a smooth paste and set aside. Our Khow Suey paste is ready.
  3. In a pot, add the coconut oil and heat. Add the the paste into the hot oil.
  4. While continuously stirring, cook the paste until the raw flavor from the paste has gone away.
  5. Once the paste is fully cooked and slightly browned, add the Jify Curry Seasoning.
  6. Now, add the water to the paste and mix well to incorporate
  7. Now, add the carrots, green beans, and baby corn to the curry.
  8. Simmer the curry until all flavors have been incorporated and adjust the seasoning.
  9. In a separate pot, cook the noodles for 7-8 minutes.
  10. Place the cooked noodles into a ramen bowl and pour the Khow Suey curry over them.
  11. Garnish with fresh coriander, green onions, peanuts, and a lime wedge.
